Meet Sweetgrass Strategies.
Ally Allison is the founder of Sweetgrass Strategies and an experienced communications professional who has spent the past decade working in a number of high-profile positions in the corporate world, federal government, and art scene.
Most recently, Ally was a public affairs representative for two major, publicly-listed energy companies, where she supported external and internal communications efforts including digital strategy, corporate branding projects, media relations, and training employees on external communications. She also advised executive leadership and assisted with crisis communications as a FEMA certified public information officer.
Prior to her corporate experience, Ally served as press secretary for U.S. Congressman Kevin Brady of Texas, where she managed digital communications, media relations, and helped craft messaging strategies for several major legislative initiatives, including the recent historic tax reform effort, and recovery funding for Hurricane Harvey.
Ally also has experience working with non-profit organizations including the award winning contemporary art institute, the Aspen Art Museum. Furthermore, Ally’s entrepreneurial spirit and passion for quality healthcare started in college at Texas A&M University where she was selected to participate in a competitive business accelerator program and co-founded a medical device startup.
A born and raised Texan now living in the Rockies, Ally is mom to a beautiful baby boy and can be found in the mountains hiking, skiing, and exploring with her family.
